Danver Kitchen Island
Danver Kitchen Island - To Your Specifications
Danver kitchen island models are limited to only a couple of kitchen carts. . . and then again, they're not.
Danver, located in Wallingford, Connecticut, is a sheet metal and stainless steel fabricator that will design and produce custom-made carts if one of their existing models doesn't exactly meet your needs.
They also make stainless steel cabinetry, so one of their carts would fit right into one of their kitchens.
Danver has 30 years of experience in the sheet metal industry, and in 1998 received the SBA Administrator's Award for Excellence, to put it bluntly, Danver kitchen islands are very well made.
Designed For Tough Use
Kitchen island carts are especially suitable for today's lifestyles and for modern kitchens that often feature open-space design and free-flowing floor plans.
They can be moved to their most useful location for cooking or when more than one cook is at work, but they can also be moved out of the way to convert the kitchen into a multiple-use area between meals.
When guests arrive, kitchen carts can be moved into other rooms or outside on the deck or patio for outdoor cooking.
Danver's principal models are the Mobile Kitchen Cart and the Mobile Kitchen Island. Both are stainless steel construction, but the Cart has angular leg design with two shelves, a towel bar and utensil hangers, while the Island has tubular leg design with double stacked drawers and two shelves.
All Danver carts and islands have commercial grade zinc plated non-marring 3" casters, but 4" stainless steel casters are available as an upgrade for use in harsh outdoor environments.
The 4" casters also raise the work surface to 35.5".
Tops on Danver islands can be stainless steel, Hard Maple Butcher Block, or Corian in any of six colors.
